There are rumours that Ranjitha herself created the tape to blackmail the spiritual leader. This, however, backfired when the video ended up in the hands of the media and its visuals being aired and published across the country.

There are no fights or misunderstandings between my husband and me. In fact, I had returned to films with his consent," she says. she is acting in serial "Thekkathi Ponnu" Kalaingar Tv opposite Nepolean.
