Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Review
Samsung has brought out the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 which is an Android Honeycomb 3.2 tablet. The tablet was announced just today and it has already got the attention of the people. The new tablet has very interesting features and specifications but one of the most important aspects is the use of the new Android 3.2 Honeycomb. You must know that there are many tablets in the market but many are either Android 2.2 Froyo or Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There are very few Android 3.2 Honeycomb based tablets in the market and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is one among those few.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 works perfectly on both 3G and 2G GSM network and interestingly both operate on quad band. The phone being just now announced will probably reach the consumers’ hands in the last quarter of this year. Just one look at this amazing tablet and you can tell it that it is probably the slimmest and the sleekest tablet that you have seen till now. I haven’t seen any tablet which was slimmer than this. Weighing just 335 grams this tablet is heavier for the size. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a 7.7 inches Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen and employs the new TouchWiz UX UI. Samsung phones have been known to have TouchWiz UI but the new tablet has gone one more step further to provide the users a better interface.The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 works on a dual core 1.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and runs on Android Honeycomb. For enhanced 3D and gaming, this tablet makes use of Mali 400MP GPU. The tablet has an in built RAM of 1 GB and you will get the option to select among 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB version for internal memory. The memory is expandable up to 32 GB using microSD. Connectivity comes natural to Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 as you can connect through the new Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, 3G, Bluetooth v3.0, GPRS and EDGE.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a 3.15 MP rear camera and takes good images with it. The tablet also has a secondary 2 MP front camera.
